Labor Day in the United States celebrates the contributions of workers everywhere, while also unofficially marking the final big summer weekend before fall takes over.
It’s known for backyard barbecues, road trips, and that classic tradition of buying things you didn’t know you needed because “it’s on sale.”
Beaches, parks, and grills reach peak activity as everyone tries to squeeze every last drop of summer fun out of the long weekend.
Happy Labor Day! Wishing you a fun, easygoing weekend filled with good vibes, great food, and absolutely no thoughts about Monday.

Starter Homes Are Sitting Longer | Referrals are the lifeline of my business. I appreciate all referrals & promise to take care of your friends & family.
In South Florida, an agent said first-time buyers have more room to negotiate than in 2021 or 2022 because the market is more balanced.
During the pandemic rush, buyers waived inspections and shortened timelines. In South Florida's current market, they can seek credits, closing-cost help, repairs, or rate buydowns.
Buyers also have more time to think, compare properties, run the numbers, and negotiate instead of immediately facing 15 competing offers on the first weekend.
Well-priced, high-quality homes in South Florida are still moving quickly, but listings sitting longer, overpriced, or needing work give buyers significantly more leverage.
Buying still isn't easy: current 30-yr mortgage rates are near 7%, but less competition can give prepared South Florida buyers a calmer path into homeownership. -
PBP Real Estate: Cash Buyers Accounted for About Half of Palm Beach County Home Sales in Q2
Palm Beach County’s real estate market continues to move at a brisk pace—about half of all home sales in Q2 2026 were cash deals. This is especially true for condos and townhomes, where cash purchases are even more common. The median price for single-family homes climbed to $700,000, while available inventory tightened further, making it a uniquely competitive moment for both buyers and sellers. As a local broker who specializes in guiding clients through transitions like inheritance, divorce, or downsizing, I’ve seen firsthand how cash buyers have shaped negotiation dynamics and timelines. In a market with fewer homes to choose from, understanding these shifts is key to achieving your real estate goals—whether you’re looking to maximize value or secure your next home. My approach is always rooted in expert market knowledge and personalized strategy, tailored to the life changes that bring you to the market.
